Could the person (Gord I think) look to see if there is anything on the family of Alexander Black and Jemima Johnston, who also lived in the Rural Municipality of Franklin? They were my great-great grandparents. I would especially like anything on the kids, but whatever is available. I doubt if he was considered a "Good Citizen", as his grand-daughters described him as "the meanest" s.o.b. in Canada.
