What was cute about those Winnipeg Electric Street Cars back in prehistoric times, 30's, 40's, when I used to ride them regularly was that they had little pot-bellied stoves on board just behind the driver who would shovel some coal in now and again. Otherwise the passengers would freeze to death. Many years later I discovered that there were places where life didn't involve this risk which is why I am where I am. Allan P.
