Hello: I am looking for 3 Stewart families, that were in Winnipeg or Selkirk from approximately 1900 to at least 1950 for one of them. 1. John Hector (Jack) Stewart, born 12 Oct 1878, Wallace, NS; d. about 1908, Winnipeg, MB He was a fireman, and reportedly died in a fire. He was married to Marie (or Mary Ann) Black. They had one child born in 1907 in Winnipeg, who supposedly died in 1908. 2. William Henry (Will) Stewart, born 8 Sep 1882, Wallace, NS; died ?; married Ida Vance, about 1908-1911, in or near Winnipeg. He was a streetcar motorman, and was known to be living in Winnipeg in 1945-50. He died before Dec., 1958. Children: Douglas Wallace Stewart, born about 1912, Winnipeg, MB Charles William Stewart, D.D.S., born about 1914, Winnipeg 3. Peter Norman Stewart, born 31 October 1887, Wallace, NS; died 29 Dec 1958, Brentwood Bay, BC; married Ethel Mildred Black (sister of Marie above). He worked for the C.P.R., and they lived in Selkirk. He retired from the C.P.R and went to the Victoria, BC area for retirement. Children: Lynton Norman Stewart, born 27 Mar 1908, Winnipeg Valerie Norma Stewart, born abt. 1910/1911, Winnipeg Delbert Charles Stewart, b. abt 1913/, Winnipeg Lorraine Eldora Stewart, born 2 Aug 1915, Winnipeg If anyone can provide any information on these families, I would greatly appreciate it.
