Their may however be something in one of the papers that could give you more information befor you spend your money and find out it's the wrong person. I would suspect a Winnipeg paper, it sometimes has write ups from Rural areas or possibly a Portage la Prairie paper. I can check at the Library for you but not until September. They only have Winnipeg papers. The Manitoba Archives has Rural papers but because of the hours that I work I can't get their. Unless someone else can check for you. Rosemary
If you find a person listed on the Vital Stats website, the cost of ordering the certificate is only $12.00.
