John Chamberlain was born in St.Nortbert, Manitoba in the late 1880s. He lived in Winnipeg for a awhile and very likely got married to an Ann Boivin there. He had at least two children before moving to BC. He worked on the BC Electric Railway as a car repairman until his retirement in 1944. Gavin Hainsworth December 25, 2002
