I do remember some of that poem: "And Queen Victoria in her Chair With snow upon her snowy hair And snow upon her feet." I think it's called "In Winnipeg at Christmas". But I don't know who wrote it. It refers, of course, to the statue on the grounds of the legislative building. We always saw it from the Park Line Streetcar going to or from the Eatons' Parade. I think I just gave away my age! Oh, well. Happy reminiscences. Bettymae, now in sunny (sometimes) California.
