Hi Jerry: All records are held by the Vital Statistics Agency. Records go back as far as 1813 according to the form one must use to order records. Unfortunately, each search costs $25.00CDN, whether or not they find your relative. Payment has to be made by certified cheque or money order, unless you can go in person. Forms can be obtained from the agency. Their address is: 254 Portage Avenue Winnipeg, MB I can't make out the postal code on the form I have and it doesn't appear to be in the listing in the local telephone directory, but I am sure you could find it on the web.
