Hello! My husband's family came to Winnipeg from Belfast in 1908. They were Young Rennie GREEN, d. 1922 in Winnipeg and his wife, Martha Jane PATTERSON, d. 1963, also in Winnipeg. They had 7 children: 1. Margaret Jane GREEN, b. 1896 married Arthur Oswald SMITH in Winnipeg in 1919. 2. Robert Rennie GREEN, b.1897 married May BAILEY and settled in Porcupine Plains, Sask. 3. Agnes Alexandra GREEN, b. 1900, married Henry McBRIDE 4. George Rennie GREEN, b. 1902 married Ettie DUNCAN 5. James Rennie Thompson GREEN, b. 1905 married Helen CANNING 6. Cora Emily Elberta GREEN, b. 1911 married Donald LEITCH 7. Ellen Elizabeth Rennie GREEN, b. 1917 m. Esdon HILTON There is some speculation that there was also a RENNIE family in Manitoba/Saskatchewan that is also associated with the GREEN family. I would be pleased to share and compare information with anyone that feels that they might have a connection with this family!
