Enclosed is a request from a friend in England for any help possible on the following: Edouard John Vibert. Born 1883 in the English Channel Island of Jersey. Went to unknown port in Canada about 1896 with a consignment of cattle. He never returned to Jersey. Married Eva de Langis, place and date unknown. Believed to have had 4 sons. One was John Edward Raymond Vibert, born about 1908 in Quebec. He married Marie Olive Boudreau. Edouard was the only boy from a family of eleven. One girl was my maternal grandmother. Edouard still has a sister Blanche aged 96 alive in Jersey.
