    3. Audrey and Ray, we just got something from the MB Vital Statistics. In 1 case we got the full marriage cert, and in the other they couldn't find any record of the individual's birth. The surname was slightly misspelled on the marriage cert., so they do look for variations. Costs $25 per search item for genealogical searches. They told me current wait was 8-10 weeks, and I think it did take 10 or maybe 11 weeks. We found the best thing is to phone them, and they'll send you the search application form. Think you can get the phone number off the web site.
