I believe that Alexander and wife Mirza McDougall, John and wife Margaret McDougall, and Arnold Bertram Richards and his wife Edith came to Winnipeg from Glasgow sometime after 1918 when their father died there. I have some information from a city directory, year unknown, which included a number of Alexander McDougalls, but without the wife's name I had no way of determining which, if any, of the entries applies to my Alexander or John. Can someone tell me in which year the Winnipeg City Directories began including the wife's name in her husband's listing so that I can begin searching these directories when we next get to Winnipeg or Ottawa? And, of course, if some kind soul has access to the directories, I would appreciate a lookup. Thanks, Ann Van Royen
