If you go to http://www.rootsweb.com/~canmb/districts.htm then scroll down to 'Midwestern Parkland' and click on it, it gives you a whole list of the names of towns in that area. Down near the bottom is Swan River, click on it and you should get a screen that lists various things you can check out about the town, on being the businesses. Scroll down to Paulls Funeral Home. I noticed that they have an email address. I don't know if they have been in business since 1909 but I know they have been there a long time. They possibly could help you. Just looked in a book put out by the Swan River Valley for their centennial 1998 and it shows Paulls having been there since 1890"s and it sounds like they started the funeral home business pretty early. Unfortunately the book, while in alphabetical order does not cover everyone that originally settled in the Swan River Valley. I guess people were supposed to send in their own family history to be included. Lots of luck in your research. Carol Lylyk Calgary , Alberta
