    3. There is a town of Swan Lake and a lake named Swan Lake southsouthwest of Portage la Prairie, about 25 to 30 miles north of the US border. There is another Swan Lake east of the Porcupine Provincial Forest and north of the Duck Mountain Provincial Park, about 30 miles east of the Saskatchewan border. Swan River flows into this lake from the southwest, and the town of Swan River is on this river. The two towns are not near each other.
