I am looking for some information on a Lumber Mill that was located in Mafeking, Manitoba. Originally it was owned by the Canadian Northern Railway and was used to supply bridge planks and ties for the rail line to Hudson Bay Junction, Sask. It was sold to Muchenbackers in 1908. After my grandfather immigrated to Canada and homesteaded near Benito in the Swan River Valley he supplemented his farming by working at the lumber mill as a cook. If anyone has any information on this mill or could suggest where I might find out something I would be very grateful. TIA Carol Lylyk Calgary,
