Mc Millan is not close to the Elemwood Cem. The street you are looking for is on the other side of the river in Fort Rough It is the next street over from a well knowen area of Coffee shops and cheese cake places. Elemwood Cem is off of Henderson Hwy..the office is on Hespler. My father in law use to live on Mc millan he passed away about 4 years ago. He lived with a man and his wife in the upper floor of an old character 3 story home,,When the man died he gave the house to my father in law or sold it how ever the story went..just in case as you put it.......... the mans name before my father in law was ED._______ Yes Elmwood is in a sad state. And it's true about the graves at the side of the river. I have heard that some have been lost to the Red River but don't know if that is fact. The bugs well yes it's a good idea to put on bug spray. It's because you are in long uncut grass more then anything. Go early the bugs are less night time or at sun set..They come out. If it's a hot day they stay away until the cool Ev....
