Peter: >From what I was told at the cemetery in SD where my relative was supposed to be buried, ( I couldn't find a death certificate in the County courthouse files) the funeral directors keep lists of all the people they have buried over the years. I was told to find a list of funeral directors for that city and begin writing them for info. I thought that this list might help others to do the same, in Winnipeg, that I need to do here in South Dakota. Does anyone else know if what I was told is true for the funeral directors in Winnipeg? I am still pretty new at this stuff! Also, thanks to Karen and Margie for letting us know about the current funeral homes.
