Mr. McDonald will preach a discourse, in the Baptist Church tomorrow evening, on the sudden death of the late Miss Chandler." Unfortunately there was a problem preventing other pages of that time period from displaying, so I haven't found the actual notice of her death. I will try again later. I did see a number of items 1875-1879 about the Temperance Society with a John or James Chandler listed as speaker. The newspaper is available on microfilm at many Canadian university libraries or from the National Library on inter-library loan. Ask about this at your local public library.
