Hi Listers, Happy Thanksgiving to all of you. Could any of you tell me about the Casa Loma Apartments that were in Winnipeg in the late 1930's. They were on the corner of Portage Ave. and ? What would this other street be? Are they still there today? Would anyone have access to the Henderson's directory for the late 1930's? I am trying to track the movement of my mother's siblings in this time period and also any mention of a Paterson's Grocery store. Thanks for any help that you can give. Sandy Stokes in Ontario

Sandy - There is free access to all the old Henderson Directories, some on microfilm, at the Winnipeg Centennial Library, 3rd floor, Donald St. & Graham Ave. I could take a look for you but it won't be right away, a couple of weeks maybe.
