Searching for JOHN THEODORSEN, born 27.05.1890 in Fredrikstad, Norway. Immigrant to Canada in 1927. According to The National Registration File of 1940 his residence was 412 Alexander Avenue, Winnipeg, Manitoba. He was single and worked as logcutter for Fraser?? Northern Wood, Port Arthur. He died 15.07.1960 in Winnipeg General Hospital, 70 years old. Buried on Brookside Cemetery 22.07.1960. His residence in 1960 was 294 Fountain St. Winnipeg, Manitoba. According to the official registration of death he was married to MAGNHILD HANSEN, but according to Vital Statistics Agency he was not married in the Province of Manitoba. He got two boys in Norway (still alive) before he left, but he was not married. He is my grandfather. This is all I know about him. I have no photo of him. I wonder if he got a new family in Canada. I believe that he left some traces after more than 30 years of living in Winnipeg. Where can I get more information ? Any information about him is of great interest to me and my family.
