May I add to your burden by posting the following ancestors? 1) JACKSON, SAMUEL JACOB - born in Ireland, joined the 1st organised party leaving Ontario for Winnipeg, arriving in 1871. Politician and founder of Stonewall. Married IDA ISABEL CLARK. 2) CLARK, ALBERT b. 1827, and wife ISABELLA SIFTON, b. 1826, both of London Twp, Ontario. Isabella died 1886 in Stonewall. Their daughter Ida Isabel Clark married the above S.J.Jackson in Winnipeg in 1878. 3) ROSS, JOSEPH, b. 1827 and wife MARGARET FARRELL, both born in Toronto, moved to Winnipeg in 1883.
