B., August 25, 1896. Has four sons and one daughter. Lived in Manitoba for some years, Manitou, Winnipeg. Author of "Sowing Seeds in Danny," "The Second Chance," "In Times Like These," "The Black Creek Stopping House," "The Next of Kin," "Three Times and Out," "Purple Springs." Member of the Alberta Legislature. Has lectured in the interest of Women's Suffrage in more than half of the states of the American Union. Delegate to represent Canadian Methodism at Ecumenical Conference of the Methodist Church that meets in London, England, the first time such an honor was ever conferred on a woman, invited to address the conference. She is a Life Member of the I.O.D.E., Red Cross, Women's Missionary Society, W.C.T.U. of Manitoba, of Alberta, Dominion W.C.T.U. Hon. President, Edmonton Women's Institute. Hon. President, Missionary Society of Alberta. Member of the Canadian Authors' Association. Resides in Calgary, Alta.
