Hi, I'm looking for Gillott/Gillett relatives in Winnipeg. May Gillott was born Nov. 19, 1894 in Winnipeg. Her parents were James Gillett, b. 1868 in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland, the surname was changed to Gillott; and Elizabeth Hamilton b.c. 1868 in Erin, Wellington County, Ontario. I believe May's parents were married in Toronto and travelled to Winnipeg to stay with relatives there. There is another James Gillott who died l0/l0/1893 in Winnipeg, and could this possibly be a relative. May's parents moved to Los Angeles shortly after her birth. Any help is appreciated.
