Hello, I was wondering if there is anyone on the list who could possibly do two look-ups for me? There is a Tryphena Benson who died in 1929, Winnikpeg and I'm trying to find out if she was originally from Newfoundland and I'm hoping that her death records may have that information. The Reg. # is 1929-044194, her birth date is ll/l1/1857 and she was 71 when she died. One of Tryphena's daughters was named Annie and there is a marriage listing for an Annie Benson who m. a Dave Peter Dalik l2/05/1922, the Reg. # is 1922-045090 and I'm hoping that the marriage record will indicate if this Annie is Tryphena's daughter. Also, would anyone happen to know of a 'link' where there may be information about other Newfoundlanders who moved to Manitoba. I appreciate any help in searching for the above people. Hello Bess, Unless someone can find an obituary and a marriage write up there is no way to check the information on the registrations. You have to order the registration from the Department of Vital Stats. These are 12.00 each. Unfortunately Manitoba is not like BC where someone can look up the actual registration for you.
