Sorry this is a bit off topic, but I was wondering if anyone could suggest where I might beg, borrow or steal a copy of the history of the 23rd Regiment of the Canadian Army during WW2? I have my father's military records which I obtained from Ottawa, and it tells me that he was awarded the DSO (Distinguished Service Order). I have asked at several departments in Ottawa, and no one can tell me why he was awarded this medal. I have read and copied from the history of the 19th regiment any references to Lt-Col R. D. TELFORD and had no success there. He was previously attached to the 23rd regiment, so I thought this would be the next place to try searching. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
