Hello Carol and Listers After my several messages griping about the Manitoba Archives, I think it only fair to say that they came up trumps for me. Jackie Nichols, the Archivist sent me everything I asked for concerning three Land Grants for JAMES HENRY FRY and his neighbour EDWARD SNELSON. And one she found while looking for the others about which I knew nothing. I just did not understand the system, and it took a little longer than I expected but not much. They send the bill with the completed work and I was expecting to pay up front! Now, does anyone know anything about the family of Edward Snelson and Elizabeth Ann Fry. They appear in the 1901 Census for Sifton, Brandon, Manitoba Twp 9, Range 25, W1 along with children, Mary E b. 1890, Herbert H b. 1891, Louisa A b. 1896, and Arthur R b 1899.
