Hello list Is there anyone on this list that could tell me if there was a known Orphanage in Manitoba around the Winnipeg area about the time of 1845-1870? I need a reference as to where I can find further information for records of children that were sent there and ANY information you may have in regards to location, history etc...???? I do not know the name of this orphange. I just learned one of my ancestors, RACHAEL CAVALIER was put there and married a man she met at this orphange by the name of CUTHBERT (CORBERT) GLADU.
