"On Thursday, May 5, 1977 at the Fred Douglas Lodge, Wuinnipeg, Jessie McMillan, aged 90 years, widow of the late Angus McMillan, formerly of Marquette, Man. Born at Poplar Heights, Man., May 15, 1886, Mrs. McMillan had lived in the Marquette - Stonewall districts most of her life before moving to the Fred Douglas Lodge in 1969. Surviving to mourn her loss, one daughter, Mrs. Marion MacRae and one grandson, Melvin and his wife, Maxine and two great - grandchildren, all of Winnipeg. She was predeceased by her husband Angus in 1955. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 7 in the MacKenzie Funeral Chapel, Stonewall, Man.. Rev. C. Moerman officiating. Interment to follow in the Meadow Lea Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, if friends so desire, donations may be made to the Fred Douglas United Church Lodge, 1275 Borrows Ave., Winnipeg."
