"In a Saskatoon Hospital, on April 30, 1977. George R. Green, aged 75 years of 415 Avenue G South. Saskatoon. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, May 3, at 1:30 p.m. from the Chapel of the Saskatoon Funeral Home Archdeacon H. W. Brandrick officiated. Cremation. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society of the Saskatchewan Heart Fund appreciated in lieu of flowers. He is survived by his wife, Ettie; one son, Terry R. Green, Red Deer, Alberta; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; two sisters, Mrs. E. Hilton, Kamloops, B. C. and Mrs. H. McBride, Winnipeg. Mr. Green was born in Ireland. He came to Winnipeg in 1928 and moved to make his home in Saskatoon, in 1928. Employed with Eatons for 50 years, he served as a department manager for many years. He served with the R.C.A.F. in the Second World War. Mr. Green was a member of Saskatchewan Lodge No. 16 A.F. and A.M.
