Hi Wendy, Unfortunately there is no place to look up a death in Manitoba. The Vital Statistics Department hold the records and they charge $25.00+ for a death certificate and then you might not even be allowed to get one as you aren't a direct descendent. They are getting quite sticky about issuing certificates now in fear of someone using them for false identification. If you want I can send you the address so you can try ordering a certificate. Let me know. Uncle died in Winnipeg? > Hi I am trying to find the death of my great uncle James O'Hara. He was born in 1887 in Ireland and settled in Canada before the start of world war one. Served in the Canadian army I have his war record, but its their I lose him. I have a photo taken about 1955 in Winnipeg. A family member visited him in 1959 so he was still a live then. Is their any one who could kindly do a death look up for me please ? I know his wives name was Ella, and I have a photo of a daughter called Colleen, not sure if he had any other family. I would be very grateful for any help. Wendy Australia. > --- Outgoing mail is certified Virus Free. Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).
