About 9 o'clock he came down town apparently in the best of health. He went to the barber's and was shaved and after conversing with some friends went home. He came here from Monteral and has been connected with the butcher trade since then, having worked with Kobold, Rochon, and was recently employed at Gordon & Ironside's abattoir. He was about 45 years of age and leaves a wife and family. The deceased was born in Quebec and was aged 48 years and six months. He leaves a widow, one son and one daughtr, all of whom are resident in the city. The funeral takes place from the family residence, 125 Pacific avenue, to-morrow morning at 9:30 o'clock to St. Mary's church and thence to Fort Rouge cemetery." For information only.
