Hello Listers, First. A Happy New Year to all you folk. Does anyone know who I may contact regarding Land Records in the Winnipeg area for the period early 1850s. My g.grandfather, J. C. ALBERT, emigrated from Schleswig-Holstein, Germany, and, about 1854, settled in Waterloo County, Ontario. Family lore states that the family spent 3-4 years in Manitoba, probably in the Winnipeg area, before moving to Ontario. Thank you for any help. Russ Groh Ontario
