But It sure does look like we could have something here as we know that Jane and Alexander had been given land in the Red River Settlement. You go back farther then I have gone. Jane Jones or Jane Conner Jones (unsure about the Conner) they called her Jennie was born sept 21 1879 looks to be in or near Augusta Ontario Died Sept 16 1976 in Langenburg Sask This is my great grandmother ( I called her the cookie lady) She would give us a cookie and close the door..(her son had 13 children, she lived beside him so when we came I don't blame her for going back in her house) smile She married Alexander Ferguson Born June 21 1868 d June 7 1947 died in Langenburg R.M. They had 6 children Garnet Ferguson is my grandfather their son. he married Alberta Oarth. Back to Jane we know that they owned or farmed land in dominion City and my parents have the section of land numbers. I will have to get more I have a good feeling that your information may just take me someplace...Lets see if that was your relatives who knows we could be related someplace...........you just never know...
