    1. Re: [CAN-MB-WINNIPEG-L] YOUR KIND OFFER TO DO LOOK-UP'S
    2. I was wondering if I may also prevail....I know that the family of my great great grandfather was living in Winnipeg from about 1880 through the late 1890s...A second cousin has recently supplied a missing piece of the puzzle...Joseph LeBlanc seemed to have disappeared between 1881 and 1891....well what I have learned is that he did in fact disappear....He drowned, along with an Indian guide, while doing surveying work for the Canadian Pacific Railroad...around 1884 to 1885...Since they lived in St. Boniface and his children were all married from the Cathedral there I wonder if there is any note of his passing anywhere...either in the church records or in an obituary....
