"On May 3, 1977 at the Misericordia Hospital, Charles Sidney Primmett, in his 71st. year, dearly beloved husband of Ivy Elizabeth Primmett, of 651 Greenwood Place. Mr. Primmett was born May 17, 1906 in London, England. He came to Winnipeg with his parents befor his first birthday in 1906 and was a life - long resident of Manitoba. Mr. Primmett was a photo - engraver for Eaton's for twenty - five years, and later worked for Stovel - Advocate as a photo - engraver until he returned in 1957. Surviving, in addition to his beloved wife Ivy, are his mother, Mrss. Alice Primmett of Victoria, B.C.; three brothers, Albert, Alfred, and William of Winnipeg; three sisters, Mrs. Kay Allen and Mrs. Margaret Fraser of Winnipeg, and Mrs. May Cook of Victoria, B. C.. He was predeceased by his father, William in 1956. Funeral service will be held in the Thomson Funeral Chapels, Broadway at Furby, Friday, May 6 at 1:00 p.m.. The Rev. This perhaps isnt the one Im looking for he was born in 1851, but he did fight in the first world war,so perhaps they made a mistake on the dates?This may actually be my michael Johns, other son? It is such a coincedence to have the same name but a lot of the families on my tree have passed names down the generations so it is great. Vancouver is about 2000 miles from Winnipeg. Trier was born august 10 1893 in Denmark. I don't know when he died in Sperling. Trier and Maja had 2 daughters born in Denmark before they left, and a son born in Sperling. 1: Rigmor Andersen, born Sept. 23 1918 in Denmark. 2: Sigrid Andersen, born Dec. 20 1920 in Denmark 3: Otto Andersen, born June 9 1929 in Sperling. I'm told that his brother Christian is in Sascatchawan (excuse the spelling). I've also heard their are other brothers and I'm not sure about their surname.I was told the Denmark gave a special day to all who lived there to change their namesif they wanted to and some of the siblings to Sofus Hansen did choose to change their names and I don't know what they changed it to.
