Hi Karen, I've been in touch with Judy regarding the above. I suspect that the Henderson's you refer to covers a period of time years past. Years ago, a railroad Engineer was one who "drove" a steam locomotive. An Operator probably referred to a Morse Code Operator who sent and received telegraph messages to the public and businesses. We applied for Canadian immigration way back in 2001 but after 3 years the retroactive law has almost diminished our chances and right to have better living standards and opportunities. We have found recently that Manitoba state runs a Nominee referal program where they need either a confirmed job offer from within Manitoba or 5 individuals who would assure or vouch for them. I am asking for your help in making us a part of your great country and we will contribute to the development of the society.
