I wanted to remind everyone about the GenConnect Boards at Winnipeg District, Manitoba GenWeb http://www.rootsweb.com/~mbwinnip/ If you have an Obituary or Biography about an Ancestor, post it here. Your surnames are indexed with Surname Helper and you are providing more information that will help other 'cousins' find you. The same with the Query Board. Also, with the Query Board somebody may respond with the information you need to continue your research. I read all the queries, bios and obits (and our mailing list). This gives me ideas on what to add to the Winnipeg District, Manitoba GenWeb site to help all of us in our research. Happy Hunting! Jacki-- hello there. How did you make out with your quest for information about the trial. Were you able to get court records ? I have an uncle who was supposedly shot in a hotel brawl about the turn of the century--- (in Winnipeg) We have never been sure if this was a true rumor or not. Have you any suggestions ? Or has anyone else any ideas. I posted a query once before but at that time there wasn't any response. I'm certainly enjoying your list. Donna Donna Coulter Box 1232 Nanton AB. Hello, Don, from Shannon in Winnipeg... If you check out the Manitoba Genealogical Society's website, you will find an e-mail address...they very likely can be of assistance! I am a new member there so I have printed out your message and the next time I visit the MGS, I will see whether I can find out where this church is! I have had so much help from fellow researchers the least I can do is offer my help to someone! Take care and bye for now... Hi, Do your ancestors came from Sweden? Maybe they came from the area around Falkoping in Skaraborg, Vastergotland. Take a look at FALBYGDEN GENEALOGICAL SOCIETY IN SWEDEN We are located in Falkoping, in the former county Skaraborg, today it's Vastra Gotaland. We are in the middle of the province of Vastergotland. Our Society operates in Falkoping district. The Society has three projects, one completed and two going on. One of them is to try to find emigrants from our area. http://welcome.to/falbygdengenealogy Pictures from Falkoping http://zap.to/falkoping Regards, Annelie Jonsson Member of the border Falkoping

Lots of Bldgs, city views. Will continue to look when asked.
