    1. [MBWINNIPEG-L] Obituries
    2. corona
    3. Could anyone in Winnipeg please help me. My aunt and uncle lived in Goulding Street, for many years. Both died in the 1960's, do not know the exact years. Ted (Edward) Gittins was my uncle's name, and Betty (Venables) Gittins my aunt. They also had a son, Ross, who died in a motor cycle accident soon after the end of the 2nd war. If there is anyone who can help find obituries for these people, I would be very appreciative. Betty Allcock corona@coastlink.com.au

This is a multi-part message in MIME format. --------------B48C20A187CB28056F2D4941 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=us-ascii Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit I am searching for descendants of Johann George Busch who would be interested in their ancestors. Johann Georg and his wife Catharina Margaretha Geib arrived in the Winnipeg area approx. 1895 via New York. Johann George died in 1910 and his wife in 1915. I imagine they would be buried around the Winnipeg area. His family of adult children came with and most settled in manitoba, some in the states and some in saskatchewan.. His sisters were Kate Laura and Dora. The names of his brothers were Philip, Henry, Rudolf, Tom(Adolf). My eldest sister believes that Tom stayed in the U.S. My father Andreas Busch and his siblings are the second generation. My father had 6 or 7 children by his first wife, Lena Thompson, and then another nine with his second wife, Adele Klann. Andreas and Adele lived in Winnipeg for some time and then later went into farming in many areas of Manitoba, The Christian names of Andreas' (Andrews') first family are:- Ed Jack (John)Lived in Chicago for some time George Lloyd (deceased as a child) Lily Married a man by the name of Shettler (sp) Gladys unmarried. Andreas Busch was born in 1969 In Landestreu, Galicia. I have been fortunate to receive a genealogy chart from Bill Busch in BC showing the descendants of Jacob Busch after he left Rheinland-Pfalz, in 1785 and settled in Landestreu, Galicia. If any of the descendants are around I would be glad to share the information and include them in the family tree, if they so wish. Thank you for the space in your newsletter.
