    3. I am looking for anyone researching Estelle S. Brown who lived in Winnipeg about 1910...and later? married Roy Evans. They may have then lived at 781 Winnipeg St. in Winnipeg. I think Estelle was a daughter of Chauncey Wilbur Brown of Gilbert Plains 1901 census [formerly from Dungannon, Ontario] and his first wife, Agnes Horne. Addresses for Estelle Brown in Winnipeg may have been 495 Langside or 229 Carlton or 145 Walnut ..time period about 1901-1910? Roy Evans may have worked for the CPR. Mrs. Shepler, who was living in a claim shanty twenty-five miles form Bottineau, was burned to death some time Saturday morning. She was living in the shanty alone although her son Rutherford was in another shanty but a few rods distant. It is supposed that Mrs. Shepler got up early Saturday morning and built a fire to warm the shanty and then returned to bed. Her son, who found the ruins of the shanty and beneath thE debris the charred body of his mother, was nearly craized with grief, as was Mrs. Busch, her daughter." For information only.
