    3. I was only thinking of, if people were looking for relatives here in Vancouver or anywhere in BC as I have access to the death, marriage, and birth records. I have gone thru a good 50% of the death records from the start to the early 1940's,so if you had someone die here in BC, I will either find it or look it up for you. Mike. PS. There was a Mary Morisseau in the Whitford connection. I think she married a Philip Whitford in Fairford, Manitoba. 2. Cindy Paradis
    3. Hi All I am new to the list, and am looking for anyone who may have information on my G Grandfather (Daneil Johnston's) sibblings. I actually know very little about the family, but the following is what I do know. If you think you may be able to help I would love to hear from you. (Brother) Angus Johnston was said to be living in Winnipeg in 1932. I know not wether he had a family, but I did hear from someone that his wife's name may have been Rachael, or Rebecca? (Sister) Annie Webb was also said to be living in Winnipeg in 1932. I believe, but am not sure that her husbands name may have been John Webb? There is much confusion with this family. My G Grandfather's surname was alway's known to be Johnston, but in my research I have found alot of conflicting information, and it looks like his name was something other than Johnston. (Maybe McPherson? Crone? or possibly even something else) Maybe there is someone on the list who thinks that they too have a connection to this family, and maybe they have information that will help to sort this mess out. If you do I would very much appreciate any help. Maybe Daniel was adopted? Maybe he changed his name at some point? I realize that I am kind of looking for miracles at this point, but I have to try something. Who know's I might just find it. Cindy

    2. I do remember some of that poem: "And Queen Victoria in her Chair With snow upon her snowy hair And snow upon her feet." I think it's called "In Winnipeg at Christmas". But I don't know who wrote it. It refers, of course, to the statue on the grounds of the legislative building. We always saw it from the Park Line Streetcar going to or from the Eatons' Parade. I think I just gave away my age! Oh, well. Happy reminiscences. Bettymae, now in sunny (sometimes) California.
