I have been researching William Hemmings Cook and would trade any info on him. I especially am interested in Joseph Cook b:1849 married Margaret Matilda Lewis(Louis) Slater on Feb 18,1875 in St.Andrews, MB. Does anyone have information on the children of Joseph and Margaret. Terry
Tansi, Terry? Kiyas! My g-great grandfather was Joseph Cook, b. 1842, and his wife's name was Margaret. His father was Charles Cook, or Pupahmekapow. They were from northern Manitoba, in the Cumberland House/The Pas area. I have the names of all the children, but I have never been able to make the connection to William Hemmings Cook. There are some Cooks in Cranberry Portage Manitoba who have told me that my grandmother Harriet Cook was their aunt. I know that their grandfather was Jeremiah "Jerry" Cook, a descendant of William Hemmings, but at that point I've hit a brick wall. Any ideas?
