    3. Hi Victoria Thanks for the map link you sent---I never would have thought there were so many routes! Bet they just loved Lady Simpson for carting that piano all over the place by canoe,can you imagine? Since your e-mail I have learned my gr.father was a farmer and that he found himself in the Virden area and lived the rest of his life there so I would think he would have come here by way of Lower Fort Garry.
