Another researcher has another Christopher APPLETON in Winnipeg at the same time, who was supposedly born there in 1876!! And she has a tree for him. It turns out his mothers name is Ann, and father's name is Richard, and his father is a horse trainer. The problem with that, is that is exactly almost the same as my Christopher. And, he lived in the same area my grandparents use to. So now, I have to get someone in Winnipeg who has easy access to old directories, to look at 1900,01,02 or so and see if they are both in the book. If they are, then the problem is solved, if they are not, then I am in a quandry. This is enough to drive a normal person around the bend. Thanks and happy holidays Doug
