    3. I'm curious to know what it DOES give, and what year that is. Do different years give different bits of information? I have found a man whom I think is my grgrgrandfather's sister's husband, in the Manitoba deaths. If all I'm going to get is the name Angus McCallum, his age, and his date of death (which is what is shown on the "detail" view), it's hardly worth it. I HAVE taken a chance and ordered marriage information. Hopefully it will prove to me that this is grgrgranduncle John McLean. It would be even better if it gave his mother's maiden name - non of the other records found have it. With all the talk about Saskatchewan, I got confused (I'm new). DOES Manitoba have a place where the public can go to look at microfilm and take their own photocopies? I live in Ontario, where we are very lucky to have those kinds of archives. My main Manitoba lines are MCLEAN, SHEWFELT (who married a McLean) and MCCALLUM (who married a McLean). I am always willing to look up people for others if I am nearby or going to a specific place (given time availability - my things need to be done first). 3. I have a Death Registration for my G grandfather who died in Manitoba 1915 and it has name, age, where born, Father's name, where born, Mother's name, where born, cause of death, name of informant and relationship. On my G grandmothers registration - 1946 - the cause of death is blacked out, but the rest was the same. Unfortunately the son who was the informant didn't know her mother's name. I am pretty sure of what it was but I would have liked proof.
