I was really disappointed that he didn't want to be part of Canada's Manitoba GenWeb Project. And disappointed to see all of that information go away from the GenWeb Project. I'm glad you meant to post the Western Region, MB GenWeb Project. http://www.rootsweb.com/~mbwest/ When we volunteer for GenWeb projects, we can use our own sites or get free webspace, mailing lists, GenConnect Boards from RootsWeb. RootsWeb supports all GenWeb projects and free genealogy on the internet. The information and data will be stored on RootsWeb servers forever, even if volunteers decide to leave and create their own projects.
