I understand that there were some places near Winnipeg in which immigrants may have stayed for a bit, resting up, before heading west. May have even cleared immigration there... Does anyone know if this is so and where this might have been and if there are any of these immigration records available someplace for checking Nancy Cheney, WA, USA
