Hello Shannah, Since you are new to researching you should go to the Manitoba GenWeb Project main page at http://www.rootsweb.com/~canmb/ and spend some time going through everything shown. In the questions section it does tell you how to go about trying to find living relatives which may help you. After reading through the board you will have a better idea of what information is available for researchers. Spend extra time looking through the Winnipeg section and also the MGS link.
