Can anyone tell me what kind of information a municipality keeps on a burial. Do they have paperwork that gives parents names etc that isn't on the headstones. Or who pays for the burial etc. I don't want to send for a death certificate because I was told he died in Montreal but I found someone with the same name buried in MB beside the rest of the Batemans. Age is right BUT our birth date would make him older. Big conundrum Coralynn
Please SKS advise as to what cemeteries were serving this city in 1894. My great uncle died in that year and I've sent (a second time) for the death certificate, but I'm not sure it will provide information on where he is buried. If there was a burial place associated with the Church Of England, it will be at that location I think. The name is Thomas Hay LORIMER and if anyone happens to find that name on a stone, I'd be most grateful to learn about it. Thomas was born in Aberdalgie, Perth, Scotland. Hoping!
