Hello all, 1) I have The Virden Story and will look up information in it, there is no index. 2) I can probably help re burials at the old stone church at St. Peter's Dynevor. 3) I can do lookups in the 1881 census. 4) My father and grandfather were at Camp Hughes in 1916 and I would like information and pictures. Regards, Del
There is information on Camp Hughes at this address: http://www.taniwha.mb.ca/MHSMb/hughes/hughes.html It is about 20 minutes east of here and we go there two or three times a year to observe the birds and sense the quietness. We had an organized tour a couple of years ago explaining the warfare and training methods. It was interesting.
