Victoria MACDONALD DISTRICT, MANITOBA CENSUS, 1901: Carberry, Gladstone, Cypress South, Cypress North This database lists more than 6,200 residents in the census district of Macdonald (#8) in 1901; the following is a list of the number of people included from each of the database's subdistricts: more than 2,500 entries of residents in Cypress North (B); more than 1,000 entries of residents in Carberry Town (A); more than 1,900 entries of residents in Cypress South (C); and more than 700 entries of residents in Gladstone (D). The database contains each person's full name, relationship to the head of the household, full date of birth, and birthplace, as well as year of immigration to Canada (if not Canadian by birth). It also includes the National Archives film number, division number, page, and family number to help researchers obtain a copy of the actual record, if desired.
