Hello All This is my first toe in the water with Canadian research. After nearly 4 years searching I have finally found a trace of my KING family who emigrated from Kent UK to Winnipeg some time between 1901 and 1911. On a Manitoba vital stats website I have found a record of the death of one of the daughters of this family. From the website I can order by snail mail a copy of the record but have been advised by another researcher that there are two options available, the death certificate and the death registration. Debbie, A recent $12.00 copy of a death record from the Manitoba Archives contained 2 pages . (1917) Official Notice of Death had vital data, informants name. Medical Certificate of Death had cause, duration, doctors signature, undertakers signature and place of burial.
